Jake Arrieta takes the hill for the Cubs tonight, looking to bounce back from a down outing in Cincinnati last week. His stuff was top notch, as usual, but the command – both in and out of the zone – wasn’t quite what it’s been most of the year.
In the lineup, you’ll notice that Anthony Rizzo is still missing. I’m wondering if that MRI on his back is shortly forthcoming, or has now taken place. Hopefully we don’t soon start talking about whether he comes back this year, rather than when.
