Given the last five games, it kind of feels like anything shy of a thumping this evening will be a moral victory.
If it is to be an actual victory, the Cubs will have to finally get a solid offensive performance from multiple players (they haven’t homered in a week) and/or a good outing from starter Kyle Hendricks. Doing so will avoid the Cubs’ second straight sweep.
