It’s official: the 2015 Hall of Fame Class will include four new members. Randy Johnson and Pedro Martinez were no-brainers (though, as always, some folks found reason not to vote for obvious Hall of Famers), and received an overwhelming amount of support. John Smoltz, with a unique career path, was right there behind the two big arms, and Craig Biggio finally gets in after coming within a couple votes last year.
Of particular note to Cubs fans, Sammy Sosa did receive more than 5% of the vote, and will thus stay on the ballot for next year.
