THANK. YOU.
The 2015 season is here, and the Cardinals and Cubs square off on national TV (ESPN2) in the Opening Night Game. This is just fantastic. (I’ll have to make sure and snap a new Wrigley Pre-Gamin’ photo, too, since the old one has been rendered rather obsolete.)
Jon Lester takes the ball for the first time as a Cub, and Joe Maddon hands it to him, also for the first time as a Cub.
I’ll be watching from Section 239 on the first base side. It’s not my beloved bleachers, but, for tonight, it’ll definitely do. I’ll be wearing the trust blue and yellow shoes, together with a blue BN shirt (which may or may not be covered by a blue and red “CHICAGO” Cubs jacket). If you see me, say hey. And then resume watching the game, because, you know, BASEBALL.
As for the actual pre-gamin’, I’ll be at Mullen’s on Clark around 2pm CT, and then heading out and about to various places. I’ll keep you apprised of my movements if you’re looking to come hang out (I’ll likely not be going in early to watch Fall Out Boy, for what it’s worth).
