The Royals officially have a reputation.
Over the weekend, the Royals were involved in some beanball shenanigans with the A’s, for which their pitchers received only minor punishments. Now they’ve done it again, this time with the White Sox, who, themselves, didn’t exactly stay above the fray. Yordano Ventura was once again at the center of things, hitting Jose Abreu and later getting into a shouting match with Adam Eaton, which set things off (Chris Sale hit Mike Moustakas in between).
In fact, the whole thing blew up into a benches-and-bullpens-clearing brawl last night. See for yourself:

Punches were thrown, and some of the main scuffling was between Royals outfielder Lorenzo Cain and White Sox pitcher Jeff Samardzija, who plunked Cain in the opener (under questionable circumstances, because it came after a homer).
