Pedro Strop was not at his best last night, and I doubt anyone would argue that point. When he was pulled after allowing the game-tying homer, a HBP and a BB, some commentary on his struggles was merited.
But instead of that, Bob Costas, who was calling the game for MLB Network, said this:

I genuinely don’t even understand what he was trying to do there.
Was he trying to come up with some poetic way of blasting Strop? Was he irked by Strop pointing to the sky?
Whatever Costas was going for, it not only fell flat, it rang uncomfortably mean-spirited and confusing.
