Pre-Gamin’: Cardinals v. Cubs (7:05 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

Chicago Cubs

wrigley outfieldAll right. Here goes nothing. The Cubs get a chance to return the favor on the Cardinals, who held them down last weekend in St. Louis.

Jon Lester starts tonight for the Cubs, pitching to Miguel Montero. Hopefully he pitches as well as ever, and that opens up the possibility that the Cubs can platoon a little more effectively going forward.

The lineup has been shuffled in a couple key ways, and the Cubs will try to break through against John Lackey – something they’ve failed to do the first two times they’ve faced him this year.

It’s been raining today at Wrigley Field, and we’ll see if there’s any game impact.
