The Rockies come to town relatively warm (as compared to the scorching hot Phillies – was that the Phillies, or was it simply the reflected coolness of the Cubs?), and the Cubs need to start putting together some wins. Their recent struggles extend back further than just the sweep by the Phillies.
Jorge De La Rosa is no longer the pitcher he was in his prime, but he still occasionally spins the great start. Usually, when he’s undone, it’s via the long ball, so hopefully the Cubs have some more homers in them after yesterday’s (relatively-speaking) outburst.
Offensively, the Rockies have an imposing lineup that is only slightly less imposing outside of Coors Field.
