As I mentioned yesterday (before crashing hard), I’m on my way to a wedding today, which means (1) I had to write this Pre-Gamin’ long before tonight’s game (hence Brewers’ lineup being last night’s), and (2) the EBS might be delayed while I boogie on the dance floor.
Kyle Hendricks gets tonight’s start against the depleted Brewers. The Cubs have done well to take advantage in the first two games of the series (raising their post-All-Star-break record to above .500, I should add), and a win in this one gives them the series.
The Cubs face old friend Matt Garza, who hasn’t been terribly successful this year.
