Jake Arrieta was solid, as usual, and the defense behind him was great as well. Starlin Castro made multiple sweet plays, and Arrieta allowed only one more Pirates hit than he, himself, recorded. The bullpen didn’t give up anything either, and it was a shutout win for the Cubs.
