The Cubs’ lineup to face Michael Wacha at Wrigley Field today at 5pm CT is out, and beautiful:

Any time a quality lefty bat is hitting 8th, it’s probably a good sign for that which precedes it.
As expected, the Cubs go with several righty bats against righty Wacha, who has been tougher on lefties this year. That includes the blistering hot Jorge Soler, the more long-term hot Starlin Castro, and some of the regulars. Kyle Schwarber is back in there, too, down in the order, opening up the two-hole for Soler.
I’m just a big fan of this lineup against Wacha, particularly on a day with the wind (expected to be) blowing out. The Cubs have had a lot of success against Wacha this year, particularly lately. Hopefully that continues today.
