The Chicago Cubs have been leaning heavily on the long ball this postseason for offense, which actually isn’t all that unusual in the game these days. If you’ve got power – of which the Cubs have plenty – use it.
Case in point, the Cubs won another game yesterday on the strength of a bunch of beautiful homers. Javy Baez (oppo pop!), Anthony Rizzo (0-2 against a lefty!), and Kyle Schwarber (o-freaking-bliterated!) each went deep yesterday:
