Limited Range, Ep. 28: I Don’t Have a Thing

limited range podcastYou can listen below to the latest episode of BP’s Limited Range podcast, featuring me and Sahadev Sharma, you can get the RSS feed here, or you can subscribe on iTunes. Seriously: subscribe in iTunes or plug in that RSS feed to your favorite pod catcher – that’s the best way to ensure you get the episodes as soon as we publish them.

Brett and Sahadev start off by discussing the new Star Wars and spend way too much time dealing with their own thoughts on the second trilogy (or first trilogy… whatever, second to be released). They then actually get to some baseball and talk about who the Cubs may be pursuing to fill their pitching staff and why each solution may or may not work. They wrap up the show talking about Aziz Ansari’s “Master of None” and how Sahadev feels it’s very representative of his view on life as well. Sahadev has a nice therapeutic session revisiting some childhood memories and what it was like growing up Indian in this country.

Enjoy:

More from the Shota-Seiya Matchup, With Jokes, Nasty Stuff, and an Early Win

Rafael Devers Does Not Sound Happy About His Team’s Soft Offseason

Last offseason, Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers broke some hearts by signing a long-term extension with his team, just a year before he otherwise would've hit free agency as a 27-year-old, big-lefty-bat, star third baseman. That would've been...

Eric Hosmer is Hanging ‘Em Up

Eric Hosmer's time with the Chicago Cubs early last season, it turns out, was the end of his big league career. Hosmer, who was released by the Cubs in mid-May after hitting just .234/.280/.330/67 wRC+, never did catch on with...

Obsessive Cody Bellinger Watch: Cubs Still the Only Serious Suitor? Parallel in Recent History?

After yesterday was once again dominated by the player who isn't at Chicago Cubs camp, there was much less focus today on Cody Bellinger in the discourse. Yesterday you had Cubs owner and chairman Tom Ricketts speaking, which he does...
