Fun With David Ross’s Retirement Continues: A New Scooter for Grandpa

It’s only just barely March, and his actual retirement is hopefully still more than eight months away, but I can’t get enough of the love his teammates have been showing for David Ross.

Gentle-chiding-him-about-his-age fun, but fun nevertheless.

The latest installment, after yesterday helping the old man traverse the clubhouse? It’s a new scooter to help Ross get around, complete with an automated following cart:

Hopefully Ross will not need, at any point, to use the scooter to get out to the mound for a meeting with Jon Lester. Those visits have to be shorter this year, don’t you know?
