Very cool to see Ben Zobrist and Jason Heyward making their debuts at Sloan in front of the home crowd – should be a packed house for a Spring Training game.
[adinserter block=”2″]Javy Baez gets another start at a new position, playing first base. Juan Carlos Perez is a defensive specialist in the outfield, and he gets the start in left field instead of Shane Victorino, who DHs – the latter probably has the better (outside) shot at winning a job on the 25-man roster.
Pierce Johnson starts this one, which should be fun. Also, it’ll be good to see Neil Ramirez in action, hopefully looking healthy.
Dig that Knute Rockne quote, too.
NOTE: The game will be broadcast by the Angels, which means it’s available on MLB.tv. In case you’re wondering, we no longer have a promotional relationship with MLB.tv – not by my choice, because I still love the product – so there is no link for you to sign up. But you know how to get there and get the product if you’re wanting it.
