One of my favorite things about Spring Training is the chance to see – or at least follow – top prospects competing right alongside big leaguers. Even though it’s “only” Spring Training, it’s still an opportunity to observe these youngsters we’ve followed for so long right there with the big leaguers we know so well.
And today’s lineup features a couple big time Cubs prospects getting the start:

Each of Albert Almora and Gleyber Torres have been in big league Spring Training games before (though the latter is not technically in big league camp), but it’s still pretty cool to see them in the lineup together.
Kyle Schwarber will come off the bench in this one, and I wonder if he’ll go in at catcher to relieve Tim Federowicz, since Miguel Montero is already DH’ing.
Although today’s game is not on TV, it is the first 670AM the Score broadcast on radio, and Michael will also be there, hopefully getting us lots of tidbits.
