[adinserter block=”1″]Like an enormous dork, I recorded the four second window between the pitcher’s windup and the delivery of the ball for a huge number of the pitches the Chicago Cubs faced yesterday while playing the Cincinnati Reds. What can I say? I was at the game, had great seats, and I absolutely love a good in-the-crowd video of a home run. If I got one, I wanted to be able to share it with you.
But, of course, I was not recording when Anthony Rizzo hit the ball so hard the whole stadium immediately did the “oooooooh” thing, and we all watched it go.
Thankfully, the Reds’ in-house camera crew had me (and you) covered:
Pretty poor attempt on the catch out there on the lawn, but I suppose I can understand – that thing was coming in hot, and the sky in Arizona makes it really hard to track the ball (or so I’m told … because I totally would’ve one-handed that thing).
