After winning their final Cactus League game in emphatic fashion yesterday, the Chicago Cubs head to Cashman Field in Las Vegas to take on the New York Mets [Michael: And put $50 on black].
John Lackey’s turn is up in the rotation, but he stayed back to do his work in Mesa, while pitching prospect Ryan Williams gets a turn to start this one.
Dexter Fowler gets ones more day off, but he’s expected to play tomorrow. That means another start for Jason Heyward in center, and Kris Bryant heads out to right field for the rare start out there. He’ll do it in front of his hometown crowd, so that’s fun.
Today’s game will be televised anywhere on CSN, MLB.TV and the MLB Network. Additional audio of the game will also be available on MLB.com or through the AtBat app. For future reference, you can check which games will be televised here.
