Addison Russell and Anthony Rizzo Do Some Exhibition Clobbering (VIDEOS)

It’s fake baseball today for the Cubs, but the bats are doing real work. Kris Bryant homered today, and I’ll have more on his mammoth blast as soon as the video becomes available to share.

Until then, Addison Russell and Anthony Rizzo preceded Bryant with bombs of their own.

Russell, whose had an especially powerful swing, does his bat-through-the-zone-so-quickly thing and sends one way out to center:

Then Rizzo sat back on a poorly placed breaking ball, and hammered it out while going to a knee. He was proposing to the pitch, and the pitch said, “AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!”:
