[adinserter block=”1″]Coming back from a very successful opening road trip, Chicago Cubs players were greeted overnight with a beautiful project many years in the making.
After making do for so long in a clubhouse fit for half of a high school team, the Cubs finally have digs befitting their status as both a Major League baseball team, and one whose aspirations are to achieve at the highest level.
At long last, they get to see, and use, the finest clubhouse in all of baseball. Check out this beauty, and the Cubs’ reactions to finally getting to see it completed:

I would like to live there, please. My family can come, too, I guess.
Hopefully that’ll be a nice boost to the Cubs’ energy levels today after a West Coast trip and a late-night return. It’s the home opener today! Wrigley Field, itself, has had a little facelift, though you’ll see that it’s far from finished if you make your way out today.
But progress continues, and the gorgeous new clubhouse is just one completed step.
And now think about the tiny, cramped, antiquated visitor’s clubhouse, which will not be renovated fully until next year …
