Earlier today, Brett woke up, marched over to Wrigley Field and got the opportunity (along with some other media types) to take a tour inside the new and improved clubhouse for the Chicago Cubs.
Also earlier today, I woke up, got out of bed and immediately stubbed my toe on the night stand…So, I guess you can say we’re both having pretty good days.
But, despite how jealous I may be of Brett’s semi-exclusive look inside Wrigley Field, I was happy to experience the tour, vicariously, through Brett’s Twitter timeline.
And now, you can too.
He’ll have many more thoughts on the tour later, but for now, you can check out the inner workings of Wrigley Field (along with some of Brett’s own thoughts), here:
Walking through Wrigleyville post-big win is quite an assault on the senses. Stale beer and shame, mostly.

Cubs' kitchen and dining area is fantastic – a health-conscious person's dream. Seriously. Good to know that it's such a focus.

Cubs player lounge is pretty much your dream basement. Ping pong, pop shot, shuffle board, guitars, huge TVs, Vegas sign, ribbon board.

Theo is asked if this is where the celebration will be when the Cubs win the big one. "No, that'll be everywhere."
