The Iowa Cubs are right now 4-6 and sitting in last place in the Pacific Coast League American Northern division. Omaha (Kansas City) tops the division and leads the Cubs by three games. Tennessee is in fourth place in the Southern League North division with a record of 4-6, 2.5 games back of the leading Jackson Generals (Seattle). The Smokies’ next home stand, starting today, pits them against the divisional second place team Montgomery Biscuits (Tampa Bay). That’s good enough for fifth place in the Midwest League Eastern division, 2.5 games back of Lansing (Toronto). The Cubs wrap up a series at second place Fort Wayne today, and after that they come home for three against Bowling Green and four against Fort Wayne.
