Okay, so the Cubs lost a game. They’ll survive, we’ll survive, and hey, at least we get to watch another one right away. Let’s see if they give us some of that sweet, sweet redemption.
I’ll also be at the game tonight in Aisle 106. If you’re there and nearby, come say hello. I’ll be wearing this crazy Cubs hat.

Two of the Cubs hottest hitters – Addison Russell and Ben Zobrist – are sitting in this one (they combined to go 4-7 with three walks and a double in game one). Russell is sitting in favor of Javy Baez at short, while Tommy La Stella takes over for Ben Zobrist at second base. The Cubs roster never ceases to amaze me, though, because even after taking out a couple of starters, there is still a highly competitive, dangerous lineup on the field.
Jorge Soler also stays in there in left field and David Ross draws the start behind the plate. As one winning streak ends, another may soon begin.
