It is Scout Night for the Pelicans, and in addition to seeing a talented baseball team, that means some scouts will have a chance to camp in the outfield overnight in addition to watching a post-game movie on the scoreboard.
The downside? There is a game the next day, so they’ll wake the campers up and chase them out at at 7 AM so the groundscrew can get to work.
It is also “Bring Your Own Instrument Night“. Show up with an instrument, and they’ll hand you sheet music. During the game, instrumented fans will have a chance to give an unrehearsed concert for the … lucky… other fans. Here’s hoping some fans show up with bagpipes. I happen to like bagpipes.
