Scripted: Willson Contreras Homers on the First Big League Pitch He Saw (VIDEO)
Un-freaking-believable.
Well, actually, in the Cubs’ world the last few years, very little is unpredictable anymore. In fact, some of it feels downright scripted.
It took a few games for top Cubs prospect Willson Contreras to get a big league at bat, but boy was it worth waiting for:

Watching Contreras circle the bases like a giddy kid was about as good as it gets. Then he laid waste to his teammates wrists with brutally excited high fives. Then he got the curtain call.
Scripted? Probably. Had to be.
Incredible? Definitely.
