The Cubs will have a tall task today in trying to leave Miami with a series split. Jose Fernandez: he’s good.

Interesting lineup today for the finale. Contreras’s hot bat stays in the lineup, even against Fernandez, which is not a total surprise. Go get ’em, young man. Gonna be a fun challenged to keep that 7-game/27-game hit streak going.
You had to figure the Cubs would want Coghlan’s lefty bat in there, and they get it by way of right field. Heyward can lock down center, but that’s going to make things potentially adventurous in the corners today. All the more reason for Jason Hammel to keep the ball down, eh?
Ben Zobrist leads off in this one after Heyward had taken a couple turns at the top of the order. I think they’re great bats and everything, but, while they’re slumping, the pain of missing Dexter Fowler feels all the more acute.
We’ll have a full Pre-Gamin’ closer to game time.
