#BNBlogathon: An Offer If We Get to $6,000 Today, and Why We Raise for Make-A-Wish

A reminder: I want to offer you ridiculous, over-the-top coverage at this year’s Trade Deadline. But it wouldn’t be a trade if you didn’t give something up, too: BN Blogathon Fundraiser for Make-A-Wish.

Thank you so much to everyone who’s contributed so generously to the BN Blogathon fundraiser for Make-A-Wish and Make-A-Wish Illinois! At last check, we’re approaching $5,000 already over $5,500, which is fantastic. At $6,000, we’ve raised enough to adopt a wish for a child who needs a special experience, AND you get me for 30 straight hours at the Trade Deadline on July 31 and August 1. Every $1,000 we raise after that, I’ll add another hour onto the Blogathon, maxing out at 39 hours. I’d hate/love to do 39 straight hours this year.

I’ll make a fun, silly bonus offer for today only: if we reach $6,000 by the end of the day today, I will let my family pelt me with water balloons, ice water, and the hose. I will record it, and I will share the video with you.
