Kyle Schwarber: Still Got It (VIDEO)
Consider: Kyle Schwarber has been in the Cubs organization (including the minors) for just barely over two years, and has played in fewer than 75 regular season games at the big league level (plus the playoffs). And yet you can’t really overstate his popularity.
Schwarber has undoubtedly had his fair share of memorable moments, sure, but he’s arguably reached a cult-level status, with very little screen time, overall.
Take, for example, the crowd’s reaction – and yours! – when he nabs a foul ball with his bare hands while standing in the Cubs dugout of last night’s game:

It was certainly bad ass, but the crowd’s reaction … they loved it! In the extreme!
Kyle Schwarber stole our hearts throughout the second half of last season, and it appears he hasn’t given them back. We know Schwarber can’t wait to get back on the field after rehabbing his ACL injury, and I have no doubt that Cubs fans are dying to see him back out there.
