The Chicago Cubs mounted a late-inning come-back last night, but failed to secure the victory.
They’ll try again tonight, behind the hottest pitcher in the rotation, Kyle Hendricks.

After awkwardly sliding into second base (and getting thrown out) in the top of the ninth inning last night, Kris Bryant looked visibly rattled. We didn’t hear much (and he remained in the game for the bottom of the 9th), but it certainly didn’t look like nothing. Well, the good news is that Bryant is in the lineup tonight, and he’ll take over the DH duties to make things easier. I suspect he’ll be just fine.
Coming in to take over third base, then, is Tommy La Stella. With Ben Zobrist in left field and Miguel Montero behind the plate, Willson Contreras receives a welcomed night off.
We’ll have a full Pre-Gamin’ for you closer to game time.
