Sounds Like Jay Bruce Will Be Traded Soon to an NL Team

Bruce was scratched yesterday, so the expectation was that trade talks had reached a point where a trade was very likely. Now we’ll see where he’s headed, and what the fallout is – wherever he goes, if it’s in the NL, there’s going to be an impact felt by a variety of teams.
The Cubs were briefly tied to him a while ago, but the fit was awkward, and there have been no rumors since. The latest, if not the Dodgers, had the Giants in on him heavy.
