The Cubs’ bats greeted youngster Jeff Hoffman rather rudely last night, and today, in the series finale against the Rockies, they’ll look to to do the same to veteran Jorge De La Rosa.
Chicago Cubs Lineup v. Colorado Rockies (Jorge De La Rosa):
- Dexter Fowler, CF
- Kris Bryant, LF
- Anthony Rizzo, 1B
- Ben Zobrist, 2B

With another lefty on the hill for the Rockies, the Cubs load up on righties, and Javy Baez gets back into the mix. To accommodate him, Kris Bryant heads out to left field. Matt Szczur takes a seat for this one, and Jorge Soler stays out in right field.
Willson Contreras gets back behind the plate, giving the Cubs an all righty lineup to face the lefty, with Anthony Rizzo being the sole exception.
We’ll have a full Pre-Gamin’ closer to game time.
UPDATE: Jorge Soler has been scratched, and I wonder if it’s that foul ball he took off the leg last night. Matt Szczur is in.
