The Chicago Cubs stacked the lineup with righties yesterday against lefty Madison Bumgarner, but it didn’t quite get it done. They’re back to a more typical lineup today, with Chris Coghlan providing an extra lefty bat.

Anthony Rizzo and Jason Heyward were off yesterday, though both eventually made their way into the game. They start in this one. Nobody hits Johnny Cueto all that well, but lefties do tend to have a little more success off of him than righties.
To that end, Chris Coghlan draws the start in left field.
John Lackey is back from his shoulder strain, and he’ll be pitching to Willson Contreras, with whom he’d developed what seemed like a solid rapport before the injury. Hopefully Lackey looks good, and so does Contreras.
