Three days and three catchers.
After Willson Contreras caught on Saturday and David Ross caught on Sunday, it’s Miguel Montero catching behind the plate tonight. With the righty, Mike Leake, on the mound and the playoffs just in sight, it’s a perfect time to keep the line moving. Although, despite career splits that tell a different story, Leake has actually been a bit better against lefties (.317) than righties (.327) in 2016.
Otherwise, everything looks fairly normal: Kris Bryant sticks at third, Javy Baez covers second, and Ben Zobrist kicks out to left field. We’ll have a full Pre-Gamin’ for you closer to game time.
