The tentative 2017 Chicago Cubs schedule was released today (tentative only because it’s plausible dates could change, but unlikely), and it features trips to Boston and Baltimore, with the Yankees visiting Wrigley Field.
The Cubs open up the season on Monday, April 3 in St. Louis before heading to Milwaukee and then opening up at home the following Monday against the Dodgers. That should be a rowdy one.
The Boston trip is the last three days of April (plan your flight), while the Baltimore trip is the first series after the All-Star break. The two ballpark series against the White Sox is July 24-27.
The Yankees come to Wrigley Field the last weekend in May.
Seven of the Cubs’ final sixteen games come against the Cardinals, and the Cubs finish things up September 29 through October 1, at home against the Reds.
You can see the full schedule here at Cubs.com. EDIT: Looks like there are some errors on home-versus-away, because the Cubs don’t actually play all of April and May at home. That should be fixed soon, but in the interim, you can read the press release, which offers some additional information on which games are on the road.
