The Cubs have taken games one and two against the Pirates and can win the series tonight.
A win will also give them 102 wins, which is neat, but gratuitous at this point.

With the righty Jameson Taillon on the mound tonight (more on him and his splits later), the Cubs have thrown a couple of extra lefties in the lineup, in the form of Chris Coghlan and Miguel Montero. Both have been playing some really nice baseball lately (particularly on offense) and they’ll continue to draw starts as long as that’s true (including the playoffs).
In addition, with his renewed offensive outburst lately (128 wRC+ in his last 50 PAs), Jason Heyward moves up one spot in the lineup over Addison Russell. Other than that, everything looks pretty normal.
We’ll have a full Pre-gamin’ for you closer to game time.
