Jason Heyward returns to the lineup and will play right field while Jorge Soler becomes a dangerous right-handed option off Joe Maddon’s bench. Heyward is 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in his career against Corey Kluber.
The other notable change is Javier Baez’s significant drop in the order down to the eighth spot. Baez is 2-for-16 with six strikeouts (37.5 K%) in his last four postseason games.
