Chicago Cubs World Series Game 4 Lineup: Heyward In

Chicago Cubs

happy cubs old logoTonight, the Chicago Cubs will play their first World Series game at Wrigley Field since … yesterday. Hmm.

John Lackey (and the following) will look to even the series against Corey Kluber and the Indians tonight at Wrigley Field.

Chicago Cubs Lineup v. Cleveland Indians (Corey Kluber):

  1. Dexter Fowler, CF
  2. Kris Bryant, 3B
  3. Anthony Rizzo, 1B
  4. Ben Zobrist, LF
  5. Willson Contreras, C
  6. Addison Russell, SS
  7. Jason Heyward, RF
  8. Javier Baez, 2B
  9. John Lackey, P

Jason Heyward returns to the lineup and will play right field while Jorge Soler becomes a dangerous right-handed option off Joe Maddon’s bench. Heyward is 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in his career against Corey Kluber.

The other notable change is Javier Baez’s significant drop in the order down to the eighth spot. Baez is 2-for-16 with six strikeouts (37.5 K%) in his last four postseason games.

We’ll have a full Pre-Gamin’ for you closer to game time.
