Joe Maddon didn’t change a thing from last night’s 9-run lineup composition, and I heart him for it. Given Corey Kluber’s lefty/righty splits, I especially like Kyle Schwarber up near the top of the order.
However, tonight, I’m sticking with Anthony Rizzo as the Game 7 MVP. He had a much improved approach (and results) against Kluber in Game 4, as we discussed earlier today, has been locked in at the plate for a while (five game hit streak) and I’m looking for him to keep it going.
We’ll have a full Pre-Gamin’ for you closer to the biggest Cubs game … well, ever.
