The Cubs will try to secure another huge lead today, and then hold it.
If they pull off the first part, it’ll come at the hands of the regulars, because the starting lineup – and the starting pitcher – are all the guys you should expect to see out there on Opening Day. Several of the regular relievers – Pedro Strop, Hector Rondon, Carl Edwards Jr. – are set to go in this one, too, so, you know, hold that lead.
Jon Lester starts in this one, getting in his work and all that. Eddie Butler is scheduled to pitch in this one, too, so he’ll probably follow Lester for a couple innings.

Matt Szczur is on the player list today for the first time in almost a week, so, whatever was keeping him out must be feeling better.
