Javy Baez Helps Team Puerto Rico to a Win by Laying Down the Law, and His Bat (VIDEO)

Last night, Team Puerto Rico beat Mexico 9-4 in the World Baseball Classic, putting the game out of reach in the 9th inning with a four-run frame.

That inning was capped off by a Javy Baez three-run blast, which went rocketing out of the stadium after Mexico’s catcher dropped a would-have-been-inning-ending foul pop a few batters earlier:

What you couldn’t see in that video was how Baez enjoyed his prodigious blast:

Heh. That’s a new one. And before you go getting uppity about respect and all that, understand that this is how players have fun, especially in international competitions. They care. This is not uncommon. I love it.
