It’s another split-squad day for the Chicago Cubs, who’ve sent half of their crew to Las Vegas, and left half home to play at Sloan without all the glitz.
The Padres come to visit the Cubs in Mesa, and the other Cubs will square off again against the Reds in Las Vegas. Eddie Butler starts against the Reds, while Alec Mills takes the ball against the Padres. Seems appropriate symmetry, given their acquisitions this offseason.
Nice a little fun at the top of the Vegas lineup.
