With the final set of spring cuts in the books, and the disabled list plan laid out, we can now say this is your expected 2017 Opening Day roster for the Chicago Cubs:
Starting Pitchers
Relief Pitchers

Catchers
Infielders
Outfielders
[adinserter block=”2″]
The best news I can give you about this roster: were it not for the Cubs’ signaling early in the offseason that they intended to carry eight relievers out of the gate, this would have been the exact Opening Day roster you would have predicted as far back as January, when the Cubs signed Brett Anderson. Why is that good news? Because that means the Cubs haven’t had any serious injuries this spring, and no ugly surprises.
Go get ’em on Sunday, gents.
