You probably knew that Ian Happ leads the minors with five home runs, but did you know he is second in the Pacific Coast League in total bases (26)? He trails only one guy – his teammate, Jeimer Candelario (27).
Meanwhile, in the Midwest League, Dylan Cease is tied for fourth in strikeouts with 15. Not far behind him are teammate Tyson Miller, Manuel Rondon, and Pedro Silverio with 13 each. Silverio actually leads the league in strikeouts by relievers.
And back up in Iowa, John Andreoli‘s three steals have him in second in the PCL in swipes.
Despite being well represented on the league offensive leaderboards, Iowa had some trouble on offense yesterday.

Triple A: Iowa Cubs
New Orleans 11, Iowa 1
The Cubs were no hit, but not shutout.
Double A: Tennessee Smokies
Mississippi 10, Tennessee 2
There was no miracle come back in this one.
High A: Myrtle Beach Pelicans
Lynchburg 5, Myrtle Beach 2
The pitching wasn’t bad, but there wasn’t a lot of offense for the Pelicans in this one.
Low A: South Bend Cubs
South Bend 6, West Michigan 4
The SB Cubs saved us from a day without a Cubs’ win at any level.
