Tonight, the Chicago Cubs head to Cincinnati to take on the division-leading Reds (how much longer do you think that sentence will be a thing?).

Here’s the Cubs lineup (via Mark Gonzales):
- Kyle Schwarber, LF
- Kris Bryant, 3B
- Anthony Rizzo, 1B
- Addison Russell, SS
- Jason Heyward, RF
- Willson Contreras, C
- Javy Baez, 2B
- Jon Lester, P
- Albert Almora, Jr., CF
Hey, hit a no-doubt walk-off dinger and you’re rewarded as the cleanup hitter. Of course, Addison Russell’s spot in tonight’s lineup is largely due to Ben Zobrist sitting this one out, but does anyone really feel bad about Russell being in the spot? Let the kid rake. I know he’s got it in him.
Speaking of Zobrist, he sits again with Jon Lester on the mound, something we’ve seen before (Javy Baez, personal second baseman?).
Reds starter Tim Adleman doesn’t have much big league experience, nor does he have much of a split, so the lineup looks mostly to be designed to maximize defense, including out in center field with Albert Almora, Jr.
As usual, we’ll have your full Pre-Gamin’ closer to game time (6:10pm CT).
