They’re just busting out the big homers today, eh?
For the second straight game, Jason Heyward ripped a homer at Great American Ballpark, and like Anthony Rizzo’s and Willson Contreras’s already in this game, it scored a good many runners in the process.

Heyward’s second dinger in as many days was waaaay gone to right field, and it was the kind of arcing, nicely-lofted blast you don’t often see from him (which gets me excited):

We talked about how Heyward’s early-season contact and results were suggesting good things for him on Thursday – he has literally homered in each game since.
Keep it going, Jason! And pitchers of the NL, you should probably start getting nervous at this point that the Cubs no longer have a sure out there in the middle of the lineup.
