It’s already been a back and forth, high-scoring battle in Cincinnati today, and it is currently the third inning.
In the top of the second, the Cubs put three men on after there were two outs in the inning (Kris Bryant double, Anthony Rizzo walk, Addison Russell walk), and that brought Willson Contreras to the plate.

And the two-out magic was complete with this swing:

WILLLLLLLSOOOOONNNNNN!!!!!!
He knew that one was gone right off the bat, and I loved watching every bit of it. That one went 400 feet, was sent out at 105mph, and scored the Cubs four runs. It was Contreras’s first career grand slam.
Given the way this game has gone so far, the Cubs are going to need every one of those runs, and many, many more.
