June 6th.
That’s when Jason Heyward hit his third home run with the Chicago Cubs in his debut, 2016 season. At the time, he was hitting just .223/.318/.314, and we were all kinda sad. This year, he accomplished the same feat on April 24th – a full 43 days sooner. We are far less sad now.
