Last night’s Cubs game was probably one of the worst overall Cubs games I’ve been to (terrible loss, worse conditions) … but I still had a good time (thank you, Hot Dougs). With that said, I hope tonight is better in every possible way.

Here’s the Cubs’ lineup against the Phillies:
- Kyle Schwarber, LF
- Kris Bryant, 3B
- Anthony Rizzo, 1B
- Ben Zobrist, RF
- Addison Russell, SS
- Jason Heyward, CF
- Willson Contreras, C
- Jon Lester, P
- Javy Baez, 2B
As is now tradition, Javy Baez takes over second base with Jon Lester on the mound. That means that Ben Zobrist kicks out to right field and Jason Heyward moves over to center field (no Albert Almora tonight). Similarly, Willson Contreras continues to catch Lester, who bats eighth, and Baez rounds out the order, setting the table for Kyle Schwarber.
As usual, we’ll have a full Pre-Gamin’ for you closer to game time (where will talk about the opposing starter, Jeremy Hellickson).
