Well … we knew this was a definite possibility given the hail storm earlier, but game one between the Chicago Cubs and Colorado Rockies series has been officially postponed … until tomorrow. That’s right, it’s double header time.

With the Cubs having gone 18 innings against the Yankees last night, and with the bullpen already worn down, you can bet they don’t hate a rain out … but a double header isn’t much better. At least they’ll get an extra player (which will almost certainly be a pitcher) for the day.
Game one is now scheduled for 1:10 CT and Game two is still at 7:40 PM CT. Here’s more information from the Rockies:
