The forecast for tonight’s game against the Colorado Rockies called for potentially inclement weather, which means storms and rain and a possible delay. With the Cubs having gone 18 innings last night, and with the bullpen already worn down, you can bet they wouldn’t hate a rain out.
Or, um, a hail out? Thanks to local weather man Miguel Montero for the update:

That doesn’t look great. The Rockies concurred:

We’ll keep tabs on things before the game, and it’s possible the weather will clear in time for baseball. Or maybe they can just play in the hail, and make baseball angels.
