Cubs-Brewers Postponed Because Rain Don’t Care (Makeup: July 6)

Chicago Cubs

No Cubs game today, my friends. The team just announced that their scheduled tilt against the Brewers has been postponed due to forecasted inclement weather throughout the day.

The makeup hasn’t yet been scheduled, but as nearby NL Central opponents, these teams are due to face each other many more times this season, and coordinating a shared off-day should not necessarily be a significant issue.

Hang onto your ticket if you had one for today.

Today’s starter, Jake Arrieta, will start tomorrow, and everyone else will be bumped back a day (Sharma).

UPDATE: Cubs have announced that the makeup will be at 1:20pm CT on July 6. That’s a pretty great date from the Cubs’ perspective, as they still have two off-days within an eight day span, and it all comes just before the All-Star break.
